The Office Equipment Installation Project aims to efficiently deploy and install equipment across 113 offices worldwide, spanning five regions: Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. The project involves managing booked equipment status, indicating whether items are reserved or not, and approved equipment status, distinguishing between approved and non-approved resources. Task status will be tracked in real-time, categorizing activities as "at risk," "in progress," "on track," or "completed." This comprehensive approach ensures streamlined coordination and oversight on a global scale, facilitating seamless office equipment installations.
Approach
Developed using d3js, html, css , json and javascript, a custom dynaimc gantt chart was created for monitoring and managing the installation progress and project timeline with the flexibility to filter data by region, country, and status, providing a comprehensive overview of the project's global landscape. Please note that this is still in development, there are some functionalities that is still been tested due to this, there is limited interactviity with the chart.
