Business Glossary

A business glossary is a tool for organizing and standardizing the language used in an organization across people, processes, and tools. It provides a common understanding of business terms across the organization, and helps people to use and interpret business data consistently, so they can make better business decisions.

This business glossary ensures that the list of business terms and definitions used within the various sets of reporting suite is the same across the board company-wide when analyzing data. It is meant to provide a common business vocabulary, used by everyone throughout Rightio.

There are supplementary information that can help further the understanding and definition of each business term, such as technical properties, usage, source system and related terms.

To use this tool, please enter a search term in the search box, then from the search result dialogue box, click on the required business term from the result options;

The table below will be populated with all relevant information about the business term. The default display view is the business glossary table for the selected data item, however it is possible to view the data warehouse technical objects and the source system where the data item originated from. Select one of the links above the result table below to show the required view.
